MISSION
The GRC library is committed to provide academic library resources and services through bibliographic support. The GRC Library create supportive and productive teaching-learning environments that foster lifelong learning.
VISION
The College Library exists to provide access to information and to preserve knowledge and culture. Since learning can be obtained from traditional sources and modern technology, it is our aim that the college library shall be able to perform its role effectively to be able to cope up with the demands of the new community of users as well as meet the challenges posed by digital technology and other available computer and information systems.
OBJECTIVES
The College Library recognizes its role as a vital source of information and research in the academe. The organization of all materials and resources, the facilities provided and selection, training, and management of the staff, are all geared toward the fulfillment of the library’s in the college.
The general objective of the College Library System is to gather and organize as adequate collection of library materials- print and non-print, book and non-book, in support of college’s educational programs.
GRC library is located at the 3rd floor
Divided into different areas such as a Reading Area, a Reference/Information Desk and Collection of books.
Has a seating capacity for three hundred forty six (346) readers
Has fourteen (14) computers with internet connection
Library automated system
An open shelf system is available for easy browsing
The library is divided into seven sections – the Circulation/Reserve Section, Filipiniana Section, Reference Section, Periodicals Section, Internet Station, Discussion Area, Faculty Corner, and PWDs area.
The Library Staff is headed by the Chief Librarian. Together with trained professional librarian, one support staff.

The Library’s prime purpose is to provide services, resources, and facilities for all the GRC community of users. Like any shared facility, it is necessary to have some rules and regulations to ensure that the best possible environment for study and research is provided for all users. Library users are expected to observe the GRC Library Rules and Regulations as set out below.
They shall input their respective student/employee number in the online attendance data.
Bags shall be deposited in the bag counter located outside the library and only notebooks, pens, books to be returned and valuable items are allowed inside the library. The library will not be liable to any losses in the bag counter.
Faculty members/Students may borrow the basic textbooks during the semester.
All general reference books such as: Encyclopedias, Atlases, Almanacs, Journals, Magazines, Special Collections (Theses, STRAMA, Business Plan, Marketing Plan, and Research) and Periodicals are not to be taken out.
All books charged out must be physically returned at the end of the semester for inventory purposes. Clearance will not be signed for those who have outstanding book obligations.
Faculty members who wish to give research work for students and please accompany the students during research work.
The library should not be used for meetings and for conferences. However, if no other room is available and the meeting is deemed essential and it is work-related, the library may be used as the venue subject to the approval by the librarian and provided that the meeting is held between 9am -5pm only .
A fine of Php 2.00 for the faculty and Php 1:00 for the students for every day delay will be imposed.
Disorderly and Disruptive Behavior a users engaged in disorderly conduct such as excessive noise, loud discussions etc.; or improper behavior, e.g. smoking, sleeping, drinking, and eating within the library premises shall be asked by the librarian to leave the library and shall be subjected to suspension of the library privileges for not more than two weeks.
Use of someone Else’s Identification I.D. and allowing library users to use your privileges shall have his library privileges suspended for not more than one semester. Library privileges are not transferable. Only the individual named on the School I.D. can use the card.
Anyone caught performing any acts such as writing on books, mutilating, stealing, and tearing off pages of library materials shall be subjected to disciplinary action to be imposed after due process. The violator shall replace or pay the current replacement value of the material, and his or her privileges shall suspend for one month or expulsion
Any student found violating any of the provision of the library policy shall be subjected to a disciplinary action which shall based on the gravity of the offense.
Lost Library Barcode should be reported immediately.
Lost bag number should be reported immediately. Submit request letter to release your bag and replace the bag number.
Charging of laptop shall fill up a 1 hour request form. This is available at the Circulation counter and approved by the Library personnel. Additional hours shall be granted for charging purposes if there is an available outlet. Gadgets other than the laptop are not allowed for charging.
Library users shall turn off or put to silent mode their mobile phones. Library users shall go out of the library when making or answering calls so they will not disturb other users in the library where they cannot be heard by those inside the library.
Reservation of seats is not allowed. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis will be strictly observed in the use of the reading room area. Therefore, if all seats are taken, the library extension outside may be used.
Two weeks before the final examinations all books are for room use only. Photocopying is not allowed. Except for Faculty members.
No GRC student is allowed to enter the library premises WITHOUT validating privileges. Any student caught using the library without a validating privilege shall be dealth with accordingly.
Library staff on duty has the right to request library users who are found violating any of the rules to leave the library premises and shall be subject to disciplinary action.
