Global Reciprocal Colleges Library Collections

It houses and circulates books written by foreign authors on topics related to the various curricular coursed and other subject areas. This section is strong Social Sciences, Siences and Technology. It includes foreign books in the field of philosophy, religion, history, anthropology,  sociology and education.

A collection of books written by Filipino or written by foreign authors about the Philippines; works published in the Philippines regardless of the nationality of its authors and published here and abroad and books written in Filipino language and other Philippines languages and dialects.

Circulation/Reserved (Supplementary Reading Books)


Consists of books that are requested by teachers to be placed under reserved because they are adopted as textbooks or reflected as primary reference in the course syllabi. Books and materials (encyclopedias, almanacs, dictionaries, atlases and manuals) shall be for room use only. General reference books may be issued for classroom use upon the request of a faculty member, but these shall be returned within the day.

Fiction generally is a narrative form, in any medium, consisting of people, events, or places that are imaginary—in other words, not based strictly on history or fact. In its most narrow usage, fiction refers to written narratives in prose and often specifically novels, though also novellas and short stories. Can be borrowed by library clients for 1 week.

Print journals and magazines back issues of newspaper found in this section.  Bound Journals and magazines arranged in alphabetical order. These materials are for room use only.

A vertical file is a collection of material of news clippings created and maintained by the library. For room use only but can be borrowed for photocopy discretion of librarian.
